WHY FULL MOONS ARE IMPORTANT

Full Moon ephemera from Nov. 10, 2011

There is a lot of “official” mystical information out there about full moons. And I have been “officially” guiding full moon experiences since 2011. (Above and below you can see the paper handouts I used to prepare for attendees, to support our magical lunar work - vestiges from my days in corporate America LOL.)

And among all the wonderful things you can experience when working with the moon at its most brilliant, I think the most fantastic is that it is a rock-solid time for reflection. The moon is at its brightest, things are illuminated, now we can SEE.

Sometimes we see things and we celebrate.

Sometimes we see what needs to be released.

Sometimes we see that there is more to see.

The full moon, when we spend time with her, offers us an illuminated window onto the truth. And she brings us this gift, this opportunity to SEE, every 28 days. So however we use the information she brings, we always get another chance, relatively soon, to be illuminated again. It’s a beautiful cycle to tune into and has changed my life for the better in exponential ways over the last seven years.

So sync up with the reflected light from earth’s only natural satellite, and receive these gifts with regularity. You can use the meditation below or just lie on the ground outside and gaze at the full moon. Or if you have a time machine you can send us both back to 2011 and come enjoy an overly-elaborate, three hour full moon ceremony (with handouts!) in my backyard. : )

I still read this quote during meditations to this day. It’s so great.
