SUMMER SOLSTICE = THE GENEROUS SUN + THE DIVINE MASCULINE

This Solstice experience draws us into right relationship with the glorious sun by first letting us feel the river of time, then opening the lotus at our crown, becoming a clear channel for sunlight and then treats us to time spent with the powerful energy of the divine masculine in its highest frequency.
The longest day of the year is the ideal time to explore our relationship with the solar aspects of existence and to open ourselves to the gifts given by the generous sun and the elevated masculine. (If there is any resistance to the word "masculine" here - it has nothing to do with ordinary men. We ALL have masculine and feminine energies inside each of us - and oddly, even though we live in a patriarchy, the divine masculine is often overlooked spiritually. IMHO the Summer Solstice is the perfect time to address this by upgrading this relationship.)

WINTER SOLSTICE = KINSHIP + DISCOVERY OF A NORTH STAR

On the Winter Solstice we connect with ourselves, the earth, the stones, the plants and the elemental world. When the night is longest, this meditation helps us find a good cave, access stillness and tune in with all levels of our being.
Even though this is very much a resting meditation (you may even want to wrap yourself up in a cozy blanket while you listen), we emerge changed - the building blocks of our being somehow rearranged by this experience of deep kinship with all that is.

Viewed through the lens of 2026, 99 VISIONS is a miracle - written in a time rich in mystical practice in an environment of spiritual camaraderie, Kickstarted, fantastically illustrated by L.A. artist Margaret Gallagher, library-cloth linen, gold-foil embossed hardcover, self-published domestically, never sold on the website named for the biggest rainforest in the world, every book shipped by me.
The visions in this book were collected from meditations I guided the first few years at Spellbound Sky - when we were in the smaller shop on Myra. I taught every Wednesday night, and every week I centered the experience around the strengths of every different kind of crystal you can imagine. So, one week I was writing a vision for black tourmaline, the next for prehenite, the next for chrysocholla, the next for garnet and so on….
I poured myself into creating deep experiences where we all at least glimpsed Truth and Beauty, and some of us were able to fly very high.
Eventually, I looked down and realized I had conjured so many precious visions and in meditation was guided in the exact way to allow the magical object - the book - to come into being.
And so it did.
This site runs on a different set of rules than the rest of the internet - I am an artist, writer and experience creator and yet; I don’t do ads, I don’t data-mine you, I am not an Influencer, I have been boycotting Meta products since January 2025. I do not have “a team”, I do not use associate links, I do not sell my books on the website named for the biggest rainforest in the world, I do not do product placement, I do not do sponsored posts, all my books are printed domestically, I don’t intentionally use AI, I don’t do gift guides or other lists that inspire consumption, I keep my work accessible money-wise and I often offer my best work for free.
I offer things for free, not because they are worthless, but because their spirit is above-and-beyond ideas of commerce. I am able to do this due to a small but very cool group of people around the globe who love and support (and inspire!) this work.
Since 2012 I have worked every day at being a better and better guide, a better writer, a better artist.
Thank you to every one who has ever taken one of my meditations and made it their own by engaging with it. Thank you to every one who bought a second book to give to a friend. Thanks to everyone who has ever come up for a nice hug at the end of an event. And, big thank you to every one who has - micro-transaction by micro-transaction - supported this work for a long time.
